Lollapalooza 2007
Virtually the same set from Lolla '07. Starts stong, gets cheezy & missable in the middle albeit w/funky breakbeat interludes, bumps a bit at the end. Daft Punk aren't exactly a sophisticated live act, tho a couple one-times, several brown pops & the right company make this lack all the more easy to manage. As a former Lolla employee, we can attest to the quality of the performance complete w/lasers, odd outfits & self-indulgent robot close-ups on the collosal digi-screen--even if it was repeated over & over again globally. Btw, the beats at the Lolla performance were far phatter & funkier. Chicago. Boom.
