its all music to me

I understand that you may hate trance and wonder where music is going. I have loved just about all forms of electronic music over the last 15 years. I have found that if I vary what I listen to, I do not find that I get bored of a certain genre. I am seeing more shite in all forms of music and the producers are not innovating as much. I rather see innovation then some of same shite records that every prog deejay is playing and it sounds the same. Lee Burridge is a refreshing change because he never plays the same set twice and he tends to play warm up sets, mid time sets and peak time sets and he varies them.

In terms of house music, I did enjoy DJ Pierre's Transistions mix

Why is it that so many high profile DJs lose they're taste in music these days? I've been listening to & been involved in the house music scene for over 20 yrs now & it's getting very fucking mundane these days. Surely the whole concept regarding house music is dance, try walking into a club with this shite playing through the sound system and imagine how many bored as fuck clubbers you'd see on the dance floor. Where's the fucking drums, groove, base line. Struggling to remember the last good mix i heard on mixriot, full of trance no matter what heading you look in.
