Superb mix this from Andy

Superb mix this from Andy Weatherall and guaranteed quality always from b2b.
I went down there(Leeds)in 2008 to see Sasha when b2b had just started using 'The Works' warehouse and Ralph Lawson was proper banging it out, watching him he still had the energy of an 18 year old. Top night as you'd expect from any Basics night.
They've done the business over the years Dave and Ralph.

Dave Beer, a larger than

Dave Beer, a larger than life promoter. I remember the Essential Mix party they had at Back To Basics in Leeds with Lottie and Yousef in 2003. The Yousef mix was pants but Lottie (p.s I Love you lottie) was ace. So was the Danny Tenaglia - Back To Basics 2CD.

Ralph Lawson's label has lasted 20 yrs, shows you the quality he has released over the decades to keep it from going the way of Hooj and others.

Both are close friends and both are from leeds

Nice retrospective,

I think Andy wetherall has put together a quality mix here not just you hammerd to death tunes but quality, backtobasics was an awesome club when at leeds all tho I only went to it back in 95 when sasha was doing his 12 nights of summer recidency for up ya ronson, fucking awesome times.

this mix is growing on me

Ralph Lawson's 20/20 is 20 years old. He is such a talent and what a record label....and weatherall's mix is aggressive

about damn time

someone other than me put up a weatherall mix, he still kicks ass. His two lone swordsmen was great imo.
