I'm pretty sure it's a Future Sound of London track rather than Vangelis? (maybe just the sample is from the Blade Runner track)
Mixing isn't bad, he's not train-wrecking it so it's more than listenable.
Producer, not a DJ
Here, Chicane doesn't fake being a DJ. Because he's not. He's a producer, and many (well, some :) )of the tracks on this recording are his own (or remixes).
Check out Chicane live at Palladium! :) It's a set by Chicane as a producer-- it is not a DJ mix and therefore needs not be "mixed." Matching beats is simple . . . producing music is difficult : )
It's about music. Not "mixing"
There's good music on here. That's what counts more than being a "turntable magician." I give this mix 10/10 because the songs on this move me. Great CHILL set. Thanks for this mix.
