"In Suspense" -- what a great tune. Also the one right after it, probably called "Down, Down, Down." Really the whole mix was fantastic. Just wish it was longer. Handling the fade-out at the end was emotionally difficult.

This was the promo D:Fuse handed you? Never heard of Hiratzka, though. Do you have any more D:Fuse live mixes? After listening to the two you've uploaded, I'm thinking about buying "People 3 (Live)", which was apparently released very recently.

Thanks again Mallam!

Just got his three month old

Just got his three month old "Clubbing in Lost Angeles, Vol. 2 - Peak Hour" and I'm definitely enjoying it so far :)

Cheers again, Cavin :)

Hehe, I hear you on it being too short. It's actually the promo mix for "Skyline Lounge" and I believe all of the songs were written by D:Fuse and Mike Kiratzka (can't find the tracklisting . . .)

Nope, I don't believe I have any other of his live sets. He does have a podcast, "The Peoples Mix," which was a radio broadcast first. He also has a website or two: "djdfuse.com" and "thepeoplesmix.com" (or at least he did the last time I checked!)

Honestly, I'm not that big a fan of "People 3(Live)." In my humble opinion, the songs are overplayed by this point (I'm sure you've heard them before) and the crowd-noise gets annoying. However, the second disc of People 3 is a chillout CD and it's fantastic. It's the same way with People 2: the prog house mix is decent, but the chillout disc is amazing!

I first starting getting into D:Fuse when Markus Schulz had him pretty regularly as a guest on the Global DJ Broadcast. He starts off with chillout and then morphs the sets into house. Amazing stuff. I wish I had those recordings of D:Fuse as a guest on GDJB circa 2000-2003.

Cheers Cavin! :)
