DJ Harvey - FreshJive Mad Dog Chronicles

  • Title: The Freshjive Mad Dog Chronicles Soundtrack
  • Artist: DJ Harvey
  • Album: lovefingers.org
  • Length: 58:19 minutes (66.74 MB)
  • Format: MP3 Stereo 44kHz 160Kbps (CBR)

Though no longer basking in the limelight, he is one of the Ministry of Sound's original residents. Influential beat artiste (e.g. Adam Freeland's mentor) & collaborator with David Holmes, Harvey pushes a sound that spans house, symphonic, rock, chamber, hip hop, folk, garage, jazz, funk, soul, prog & even pure handbag. This set, mind you, is nothing but an organic, guitar-driven, rock n'roll breakbeat affair. Similar to Greg Wilson but closer to Gilles in terms of cool-factor & mad skills locating obscure grooves, Harvey's been around since nearly the beginning of this electronic dance thing & kept it alive ever since.
