Was at this one - good times. This is the first 30 mins of JZ's 60 min set at the Shelbourne Pool Party during Miami Music Week (WMC) on March 23, 2011. Full-on JZ, scratching and jumping around with an iPad queued to effects. Will post the entire version if/when it's available.

How was it, Mallam?

How was it, Mallam? Definitely jealous. It didn't take long for the set to pick up. Interesting that he had a crack at the Daft Punk tune from Tron. Not entirely successful I think - not that great a tune. Hope you had a good time.

Great Fun, Robotperson

The party itself was great, good vibes coupled with perfect weather. JZ is clearly light years ahead of the pack in terms of technical ability and his 60 minute set was the highlight of the day for everyone there. S.O.S. wasn't bad, but the rest of the DJ sets that day were forgettable. Carl Craig didn't even spin, just stood back with sunglasses on while he let Al Lester take over for him. Dubfire started with a great track, but went nowhere.
It may be possible to watch some of the party as it was absolutely swarming w/ the crew from be@tv. Part of the set from S.O.S. is up there already, and I'm assuming some other portions of the event will be posted there in the coming weeks.
I hope your wife is improved. You mentioned some very serious illnesses. Cheers man.

1st of all i love the fact

1st of all i love the fact that I clicked reply and it took me to a new page, incredible

2nd, AWESOME!. Was Dubfire track egbert - open? I kinda felt the same way about his latest wildcast

sick

sick

Bah

IMO: tweaking the technology is hardly impressive--hip hop DJs have been doing this for eons & to a much higher standard. Regardless of what one may think of JZ's FX wizardry, once he gets into the tunes respect is due. (totus tuus)

Well clearly you need to

Well clearly you need to listen to more hip hop or christian rock then
