Sometimes down. Not out.

This mix is brilliant. Melodic, driving at times, uplifting.

Sasha is still one of the world's best djs, despite the occasional misstep. Anyone who likes the sound of Kompakt will appreciate his recent set at the Panorama Bar in Berlin. Melodic tech house, a bit of minimal and some progressive in there for good measure.

We can't expect him to sound exactly as he did in 2003-2005.

Invisible Inc. - Stars (Ambient Mix)

This tune is amazing and a great way to start a great mix.

Absolutely Agree with SSPACKER

I'm totally agree with your comment, since 2004 Sasha has been playing plain and monotonus stuff, I think his best times where 2000 - 2005, his Airdrawndagger album was a masterpiece. Now I hear his sets and.. I don't know the magic is gone.

Keep it progressive, never depressive

Fantastic

Not really any duff tracks, a real treat!!!

Bang on it

If I'm not mistaken, the Man Like Sasha didn't put a foot wrong until shortly after 2005's (astounding) Maida Vale BBC gig. Since then I haven't really understood his stuff. It's just got greyer and greyer and more and more ploddy and wibbly. This mix however shows exactly what I love him for. Thundering, dazzling stuff. Hopefully he'll refind his creative zeal and get back to peak form.

Keep hoping...

b/c all that's left is but the odd shimmer & sparkle. It's pretty much over, Grover. That said, http://www.mixriot.com/content/sasha-kiss100-2006-11-12 has long been in the rotation. totus tuus
